S.W. "Sammy" Papert, III, Chairman/CEO
Mr. Papert complements Belden senior management with his nearly 20 years experience using research to sell the newspaper medium. Prior to joining Belden, Papert was the President of Papert Companies, the 75-year-old newspaper sales and marketing organization. During his tenure, he led the company in doubling its number of clients. Mr. Papert is an experienced newspaper marketer and knows first-hand the value of newspaper research.
   
Deanne L. Termini, President
Ms. Termini sets the tone for Belden Associates as a research innovator and experienced consultant to newspapers and other media. With over 30 years experience, she oversees strategic and advertising studies, including Hispanic research.
 
Suzanne H. Phillips, Senior Vice President
Ms. Phillips is a nationally known methodologist in media research and specializes in large, national studies for newspaper groups, associations and individual publications. She serves as Head of Faculty for the Dallas-based Belden Research Workshops held semi-annually. She brings more than 25 years of experience to any assignment, whether strategic, news/editorial or advertising sales related.
 
Muriel Elliott McGuire, Vice President
Ms. McGuire serves as Chief Statistician for the firm and directs all research production. She also consults with clients on applications of multivariate statistical methods. She has more than 20 years of experience in management and information systems consulting. With Ms. Termini, Muriel is the designer of the Belden's Prime Prospects Analysis technique, in wide use in the newspaper industry as a method of targeting high-potential prospects for circulation sales.
 
   
Greg Harmon, Director, Interactive
Since joining Belden in January 2001, after success as VP of Business Development at Survey.com, Greg has spearheaded the rapidly growing Belden Interactive internet division. The Sales and Site Survey is just the first of several successful tools sure to advance newspapers' web efforts.
   
Deborah Rugen, Senior Project Director
Ms. Rugen applies her organizational skills to the day-to-day management of marketing research projects. She has over 30 years of marketing research experience to the analysis and interpretation of the research.
   
   
Indra Chapman, Project Director
With a degree in business and a background in product research and marketing, Indra brings a different perspective to Belden. Her attention to detail and qualitative skills are very useful in managing projects and studies.
